Management Training - Leadership & Development

Many organisations profess to consider their employees their most important asset, but all too often their policies, procedures and managerial practices contradict this view. To manage successfully, you need to understand what your most valuable resources are.

Here at Beamish Hall Country House Hotel in County Durham we understand that all teams are different and therefore managers need a broad skill set to deal with and capitalise on this diversity. Therefore our programmes are bespoke and will be designed in alliance with your requirements. A typical management training programme at Beamish Wild could incorporate the following; building confidence, increasing self awareness, creating trust, goal setting, time management, managing conflict, giving feedback, decision making and delegation.

All of these issues can be explored using stimulating exercises in an outdoor environment. Whether it is swinging from the treetops or finding hidden treasures, the important learning points will be extracted in the feedback and discussion sessions, both formally and informally. Some issues may require supportive theory sessions and these can be incorporated into the development programme.
