Team Development
There are many ways to get people to work together. A programme at Beamish Wild in County Durham is one of those ways.
“Tell me, and I will forget.
Show me, and I may remember.
Involve me, and I will understand.”
All of our programmes at the Beamish Hall Country House Hotel are based on the age old principle above and utilise experimental learning techniques to develop and improve team skills and performance. Fun and enjoyment are pre-requisites to all our programmes. Whether your objective is to improve colleague relations or to form and develop a new team, we guarantee that the exercises will be stimulating, exciting and most importantly valuable.
Team development programmes can incorporate exercises and training on a wide range of topics, including; team selection group dynamics, effective planning, time management, communication, managing conflict, managing change, improving team performance and motivating the team. By approaching these topics in a friendly and informal environment and using exercises and activities that are exhilarating and enjoyable the results can be remarkable.
The exercises that are used in team development include; the Beamish Wild high ropes course, low ropes course, bushcraft, orienteering, archery, problem solving tasks and unique adventure quests.
