Safety

Beamish Wild Ropes Activity Centre in County Durham is a highwire rope adventure course situated within a woodland environment. As with any outdoor adventure activity, there is a risk of injury. All participants receive a full safety briefing from our qualified instructors, and all personal protective equipment (PPE) is issued and demonstrated during a comprehensive induction session. This ensures the highest possible standards of safety are maintained at all times. Participants are clipped onto the ropes course by an instructor and supervised in our induction area. This gives participants time to become comfortable at height whilst demonstrating the ability to use the safety equipment. Individuals move independently around the ropes course with instructors patrolling and supervising from ground level. If at any stage you feel you are unable to complete the ropes course our staff will help you safely to the ground.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All PPE is issued and demonstrated during the induction, and complies fully with current safety legislation.
